Sixteen Eleven Studios
x Now More Than Ever Exhibit
An observation of the intersection between traditional craftsmanship and sustainable practices “Wear Plants” was an exhibit sponsored by Sixteen Eleven Studios x Now More Than Ever. This showcase honoured the beauty of natural textiles and the alchemy of natural dyeing techniques learned from all over the world through history, tradition and time.
With a goal of leaving viewers with a deeper introspection of their consumer choices and behaviours, interesting facts about the ecological benefits of natural textiles and dyes was incorporated through out the space to draw viewers in for an in-depth understanding of where modern toxic fabrics and dyes come from, how they are created and what impacts they make on both body and planet.
My mission as a designer is to lift the curtain on the fashion industry for more transparency, to help shed light on what it actually takes to create a garment, how resource intensive materials are, which methods are destructive and which give back to the earth, and lastly what kind of impact it makes on our bodies and our health.
Designer in residence at Yorkville flagship store, Toronto
Kit and Ace, created by the Lululemon family is a brand focused on elevated essentials with technical versatile design. They developed a special proprietary fabric called technical cashmere making it luxurious, comfortable and washable for everyday wear.
I had the honour of being selected to join the team at the flagship store as an in-house designer in residence. The shop had an in-house atelier where we could interact with customers, get direct feedback, and show them how the garments come to life. I created multiple mini-collections that were presented to head office in Vancouver with potential to have styles selected and put into production.

Designer & Creative Director
A men’s wellness brand dedicated to movement and passion for meditation and mindfulness that later shifted to becoming a mindfulness in the corporate setting educational company.
I had the opportunity to help build this brand from the ground up with the two founders. I helped develop the styles, providing inspiration boards, technical sketching, sourcing factories and fabric, managing all garment sampling to full production at the factory level. I also consulted on brand vision and creative direction of the brand.

I was headhunted for this position at the curated grad show at my university when presenting my final collection. I was brought on the team at Hudson’s Bay Company, the oldest trading company to be formed in North America (in 1670)- a true prestigious heritage brand that everyone in Canada is familiar with. We were tasked with developing and bringing to life the Team Canada uniforms and all of the Canadian themed merchandise to be sold in stores across Canada.
